"There are many who give advice, but few who offer guidance."
Erin Coram, LMFT (she/her)
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Erin Coram, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and owner of Voyage Counseling with extensive training in play therapy, couples therapy, adolescent centered therapy and family therapy. Erin has been in practice for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of settings such as community-based therapy, community mental health, residential treatment centers, and private practice. Erin is a trauma informed therapist and practices Brainspotting. Erin also maintains certifications as a functional family therapist, a trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapist and has completed Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy Training. Erin also works with an adoption agency supervising home studies. She is the owner of two additional companies, Indiana Family Therapy Center, Inc. and Embrace for Impact, LLC where she provides coaching, consulting, community groups, speaking engagements and retreats for helpers and healers who have experienced trauma.
Erin is passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, women’s issues, life transitions, betrayal trauma, intimate partner violence, ADHD/ neurodivergence, business owners, entrepreneurs and leaders, perfectionists, overachievers, couples, family conflict and people living with or caring for a child or family member with chronic health conditions, especially “invisible illness”.
In her own words:
“From a young age, I knew that helping people cope with and heal from the chaos of life would somehow be intertwined in my profession. I started out in an education program, hoping to become a teacher, but always ended up talking with one or two kids in the classroom about their worries and fears. I knew at that point a major shift was in order and thus began my counseling career.
I tend to look at the big picture and see families as interconnected. Therefore, I understand that each member of the family unit is impacted by illness (physical or mental), stress and/or chaos in any one member of the family. Working from a conceptualization of family systems does not mean that I only work with families, but rather this is the lens through which I view the things you are dealing with. I work with individuals and couples on how to feel alive again, connect with one another and stand back up after being knocked to the ground. As a Type 1 diabetic myself, I understand how frustrating, confusing and exhausting it is living with illness every day. I love working with families that are dealing with illness in the family, as they navigate through all those emotions and figure out their new “normal”, how to support each other without losing themselves and how to push through even when they don’t want to.
I am passionate about what I do. Helping people is a part of who I am. I am not your typical therapist, however. I am a neurodivergent therapist, imperfect parent of two boys, a survivor of intimate partner violence, LGBTQIAA, a wife and a proud entrepreneur and business owner. You will often find me in ripped jeans and flip flops, curled up in my chair with my coffee. I will treat you as I would anyone else in my life I care about. I will call you out when you need called out and I will push you when you need to be pushed. I will also stand beside you and walk with you through the muck of life and help you make some sense of it all. I will not, however, show up in my suit and sit on my throne and pretend to know everything. I have been on your side of the room (client’s chair), I have been desperate for answers, I have been paralyzed by fear and I have been in so much pain I wasn’t sure which way to turn. I will sit right there with you through it and together, we will find some hope. If you can’t find it, I will lend you my hope for your healing until you discover your own. Often, the pain and conflict will lessen and I will be honored that you allowed me to be a part of it.”

Jessica Neely, LCSW (she/ her)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Jessica earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work Degree from Indiana University (IU) in 2001. She went on to obtain her Master’s of Social Work Degree from IU in 2005, with concentrations in school-based social work and youth and their families. Jessica began her career at the Indianapolis Juvenile Correctional Facility (IJCF) in 2001. In 2005, she moved into community mental health services working for Cummins Behavioral Health. She worked as part of the school-based program from 2007 until the summer of 2010. This included helping to begin the relationship between Cummins and Brownsburg secondary schools from 2009-2010. She has experience working with depression/anxiety, behavioral concerns, school problems, family and peer relationships, stress/anger management, and self-harm behaviors and/or suicidal ideation. Jessica is a trauma informed therapist that uses Brainspotting to assist clients in working through their trauma experiences and memories. Brainspotting is an evidence-supported trauma treatment modality that is utilizes eye positioning to process trauma. One of the benefits of Brainspotting is that one does not need to relive the trauma in order to heal and can brainspot nonverbally. For people that have trouble verbalizing their trauma, or find it too emotionally activating to do so, Brainspotting will allow healing without talking (clients can also verbally process during Brainspotting if they choose to). This can be especially helpful to children who may not have the language to articulate their trauma memories.
Her primary treatment modalities are Brainspotting (BSP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution/Strength-Focused Therapy. Jessica also uses play as a therapy approach. Jessica has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana since 2007.
In her own words:
“Now that the technical stuff is out of the way, here’s a little bit about me. I am a born Hoosier and have lived on the west side of Indy my entire life. Proud graduate of Ben Davis in 1996. My husband and I live with our two kids (20, when she is home from college and 16), dogs, lizards, rabbit and snake. We’re always hoping to add to the zoo, when space allows. I love spending time with my family playing games, watching movies, taking walks, etc. Other than that, you can find us at marching band everything and robotics. You catch me reading, taking pictures or working on cross-stitch to pass the time, as well (and yes, playing games on my phone). Don’t be surprised if you hear me singing too. I grew up in the choir at my church we went to and joined as soon as I was old enough, not to mention concert and show choir in middle and high school. Music is a big part of my family and always has been. Being a band mom was definitely a whole new experience for me. Fun fact: I had the pleasure of working in Disney World for six months through their college program!!!
If you decide to come visit, please don’t expect to see me all dressed up and ready for the professional world. I’m a firm believer in being comfortable at work. Don’t worry, no PJ’s, I promise. I tend to be pretty laid back and very open-minded; ready to listen and do everything I can to support the amazing kiddos that I get to meet and their families. Thank you, in advance, for allowing me the pleasure of helping you through whatever your child and/or you need.”

Kara Gogolew, LMHC-A, (she/her)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Kara Gogolew is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and a dual-certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Ball State University, a Master’s of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Master’s of Science in Counseling Education. With extensive experience working with individuals across a broad spectrum of needs, Kara is particularly passionate about supporting clients of all abilities—from children as young as 3 to adults—helping them overcome life’s challenges and thrive.
Kara began her career at an Autism Center in 2015, where she learned the significant impact of building a positive connection as the foundation for exploring individualized approaches that help clients succeed. This experience sparked her desire to pursue a career in counseling in 2020. Her background allows her to integrate evidence-based techniques, offering a well-rounded, holistic approach to therapy, with connection and trust as the foundation. Kara specializes in helping clients navigate challenges such as emotional regulation, anxiety, parent-child relationships, conflict resolution, and impulse control. Her primary modalities include: including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy Techniques—to help clients build practical skills and create positive, lasting change.
As a therapist, Kara is deeply committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with full acceptance. She believes therapy is a collaborative process, where each person’s experiences and goals are top priority. She strives to make the therapeutic experience as comfortable and empowering as possible. Her approach is grounded in empathy, and she works with clients to develop the tools they need to manage stress, improve relationships, and navigate life transitions.
In her own words:
Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my two dogs and fiance! Between home renovations, coffee shop adventures, and relaxing at home, we enjoy a balance of everything. I love to travel, and learn about how others go about this wild roller coaster that is life. In both my personal and professional life, I strive to create a comfortable and welcoming space where anyone can feel at ease. Typically you will find me at work in my jeans, sneakers, comfy t-shirt, and some sloth or Harry Potter socks.
Taking the step to seek therapy is a true act of bravery. Reaching out for support is often the hardest part of the journey, and you have already taken the first step! I understand from my own experience, how awkward and vulnerable this part of the process can feel. It’s normal to feel unsure or vulnerable, but that doesn’t make your decision any less courageous. In our work together, we’ll take things one step at a time, at your pace, to move forward together.

Rachael Myers, LMHC-A (she/they)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”-James Baldwin
Rachael Myers earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in August 2024. She brings experience from diverse roles, including serving on a Crisis Team in an Emergency Department and working in substance use and addictions treatment across intensive outpatient (IOP) and residential settings. Rachael has also supported individuals in community mental health settings, particularly those diagnosed with serious mental illnesses.
She provides counseling for individuals aged 15 and older, employing evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness practices. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, multicultural perspective that ensures her clients feel supported and understood. Rachael is dedicated to working with individuals managing chronic illnesses/pain, neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, addictions, stress management, life changes, grief, trauma, and suicidal ideation, offering compassionate care tailored to their unique challenges and strengths.
Rachael began her professional journey as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), a role she held for 10 years. She later earned an associate’s degree in respiratory care and practiced as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for 17 years, including traveling to support communities that were the hardest hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. These experiences have given her unique insights into the challenges faced by healthcare and emergency service workers, an area in which she has developed a particular counseling focus.
Her passion extends to advocating for and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, with a special emphasis on creating a safe and affirming space for transgender individuals. She is committed to addressing their unique needs and challenges with empathy and respect, empowering them to navigate their personal journeys and achieve their goals.
Rachael is a dedicated advocate for equality and human rights, driven by a deep commitment to fostering inclusivity and justice. She believes in empowering all individuals to live with dignity and works to support marginalized populations in achieving equity and access to resources. Her practice reflects her belief in the inherent worth of every person and her dedication to creating a more just and compassionate world.
“My life has always been centered around helping people and making the world (or just my little corner) a more empathetic and kinder place. I believe in the power of community and connection, and these values guide both my personal and professional life.
At home, music is often at the heart of our lives, accompanied by the joy, and chaos!, of our dogs and cats. I love spending time with friends, my son and my spouse, enjoying live music and theater, going to the movies, or experiencing new and tasty foods. I also love hanging out by a fire, tending to my plants and flowers (there is always room for more!), and exploring the outdoors—especially somewhere with water. When I’m not working, you can often find me binging British detective shows or playing with my furry buddies.
I love to travel, and I’ve had the privilege of living overseas. These experiences have taught me that gaining a differing perspective enriches our understanding of ourselves, other people, and the world around us. A sense of humor is invaluable—whether I laugh at myself, as I often do, or all the things life throws at us, laughing together is healing
This is a favorite quote of mine, “Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” -Fred Rogers

Her primary modalities include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and Solutions-focused therapy.
In her own words:
“This ‘work’ is my passion. I came into this work later in my life, as I spent a large portion of my life dedicated to caring for my children, engaging in advocacy and volunteer work. I am a lifelong Hoosier, though while my partner was in the Army, we lived in a few other states. Ultimately, when he retired from the Army, we knew it was time to go ‘back home again in Indiana.” However, we opted to not move back to the tiny rural town we grew up in and opted for Hendricks County! The juxtaposition of corn fields, highspeed internet, and Starbucks drew us in, and the wonderful people were definitely the icing on the cake.
We have lived here with our four children since 2015. We are both active volunteers within the county. I am currently one of the Board members for Hendricks County Pride and can be found jumping into volunteer throughout the state. In my free time, I enjoy working out, cooking, all forms of art, video games, music, and learning. I am also a tireless advocate for the LGBTQIA+ and disability communities. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are, which also means ensuring they are comfortable. As such, I typically can be found wearing an advocacy tee, jeans, and my Rainbow Vans in the office. You will also find plenty of fidgets, cozy blankets, and possibly a good joke or two. I am a very laid back and open-minded therapist who is passionate about ensuring clients feel safe and comfortable knowing there is never judgment in my office. Taking the first step to ask for help is BRAVE. I’m proud of you for that. Thank you for working to take care of YOU.”

I am happily married to my wife who is a Respiratory Therapist. We enjoy outdoor activities, gardening, and cooking. We have a 10-year-old cat named Kitten. I am a huge Pacers fan.
Thank you for reading my story and I hope I get the opportunity to support you through your journey. With having worked in every capacity as a school employee, fighting for a child’s educational rights to access and make progress in the curriculum is her specialty!
In her own words:
“As an educator and principal I always had a passion for all students but had a real passion for working with students who had learning or behavioral needs/challenges. It was so rewarding for me to help students reach their full potential. I would spend weekends trying to find new and creative ways for my students to learn the required skills and information to have success in the classroom. I included everyone and was so proud of my class. Eventually, I knew if I wanted to make more of a difference, I would have to go into administration.
My understanding of and advocacy for students with special needs grew exponentially when I became a mother. My husband and I have 5 children, two through adoption and three biological. One of our adopted and one of our biological sons has Autism. Even with my extensive background knowledge, accessing services for my boys was hard. Advocating for their rights at school was even harder. Luckily my knowledge of the law and experience as a coordinator, gave me a level playing field with school officials. I have not met with a lot of resistance because of what I do for a living, but the same cannot be said of other parents who just want the services their children are entitled to in order to get their education.
It is my belief that every parent is their child’s best advocate. No one knows your child better than you; however, when you are unable to get the school to recognize the needs of your child, an advocate can be the bridge that connects your child’s needs, your wishes for support at school, and the school’s willingness and ability to provide those services. Often, just having an advocate that knows the law well and can utilize that knowledge to communicate the needs of, and legal rights to services, can lead to desired outcomes for parents and students. It is my greatest hope to be a light that guides the way for families that must travel this road.”

Jamie Boodt (she/her)
Office Manager
As the Office Manager, Jamie is the first person you will chat with when getting in contact with Voyage. She attended Indiana State University where she studied Business Administration. While in college, she became an active member of Delta Gamma and Alpha Kappa Psi. Through these two organizations she was able to find her passion for giving back to the community. During her college career, she also pursued her lifelong dream of working at Walt Disney World while taking Human Resource classes. Following her internship, she gained experience as an Office Manager working for a world-class hunting lodge. For the last 7 years, Jamie has had the privilege to stay home raising her children, while working PRN at a local hospital as a Patient Access Advocate.
In her own words:
“You can’t pour from an empty cup. One of my favorite statements to share with others as they are struggling to balance all things life throws at them. It’s also the same statement that a friend said to me on one of my most difficult days. As an empath, I have always found myself relating to others as they go through life’s highs and lows. However, it wasn’t until I entered my own mental health journey of postpartum depression and anxiety that I realized it’s okay to ask for help eventually found the importance of advocating for myself.
My husband and I traveled after college but found ourselves settling down in Brownsburg in 2017 after we welcomed our oldest son. In 2020, amidst the COVID craziness, we purchased our first home in Danville where we currently reside with our three boys. When I’m able to break away from mom mode, you will find me around the water, enjoying sunshine, working on a puzzle, event planning, or mapping out my families next big thing. I tend to find myself keeping my calendar quite busy. When I’m not in the office or with my family, you’ll find me volunteering at my boys’ schools, for our local soccer league or roaming the isles of Target and Hobby Lobby.
Once talking with me, I hope you’ll find a friend on the other side of the phone rooting for you or your family member. It’s never too late to reach out and when you do, I’ll be ready to make your onboarding process as easy as possible.

Braeden Craig (he/him)
Communications Coordinator
A current undergraduate student at Indiana University Bloomington, Braeden is passionately studying nonprofit management and youth development. Braeden has a past of working with scheduling, event planning, social media marketing, and more as he worked often within the Civic Leaders Center (CLC) at IU and Bring Change 2 Mind at Plainfield High School doing initiatives along those lines. He now works at the CLC as a First-Year Mentor for incoming freshmen, where along with helping freshmen navigate and excel their first years at IU, he also continues to work on marketing and recruitment tactics for the CLC.
In his own words:
“I have always had a passion for family dynamics and youth advocacy. I am a firm believer that the youth are our future, and far too often they are shunned away and ignored by the masses. Since I was a child, I have recognized the incredible role parents play in children reaching their full potential. I want to one day work for a youth advocacy nonprofit that does not only help children and teens follow their dreams, but gives parents the resources to help make that happen.
Furthermore, I have a great passion for marketing and outreach. Any company, small business, or nonprofit is only as successful as the marketing tactics allow them to be. I believe through various tactics of social media outreach and community engagement Voyage Counseling along with any organization can more successfully do the mission it intends to do. My goal is to help as many people as possible learn and understand the mission of Voyage Counseling and understand that it is a safe space for them to be.”
