Our initial session is $190. After the initial session, our standard fee for each 50-55 minute session is $160. Our clinicians accept many insurance plans, including United Healthcare, Optum, Aetna, Anthem, Traditional Medicaid, and Anthem Medicaid. Insurance plans accepted does vary some by clinician, so please contact us to find out which clinicians, if any, accept your specific plan.
In-Network Insurance Billing for Therapy Services
In Network Insurance plans will be billed at our service rate. You are responsible for paying the amount not covered by your plan, or what is commonly termed the “co-pay”. Please remember that some plans require your deductible to be met before our services can be reimbursed by your insurance plan. If this is the case, your fee will be based on the “contracted rate” with your specific insurance plan. We will assist you with understanding your fees based on your insurance plan.
FSA/HSA and Using Out-of-Network Benefits for Therapy
We can also accept FSA/HSA cards and provide you with a superbill/ receipt if you would like to seek reimbursement for out of network services with other insurance carriers. Fees are due at the time of service and will be charged to the card on file in your electronic medical record.
Sliding Scale Therapy Rates
If you do not have insurance and cannot afford services, we do have a sliding fee scale available. The sliding scale fee is based on your gross family income and the number of dependents you support on that income. The range for the sliding fee scale is $120 to $160 per hour. Most clients will fall within the $120 to $130 fee brackets.

What Kinds of Therapy Services Does Voyage Counseling Offer?
We offer a full range of services for adults, teens, and kids who are 6 years of age or older. Counseling is provided on an individual, couples, or family basis. Some of the issues we address in counseling include anxiety, depression, marital conflict, marital separation, couples and family problems, breaking up and divorce, blended family, personal growth and enrichment, stress management, job or school performance, grief and loss, low self-esteem, post traumatic stress resulting from abuse or other damaging personal experiences, behavioral issues such as anger management, and other kinds of “acting out” behaviors by adults, teens, and kids. We also offer services for alcohol and drug abuse and/or addiction.
